Fedora 11

I usually upgrade to the latest (greatest) version of Fedora with weeks of its release but this time Fedora 12 is nearing its D-Day and yet no sign of Fedora 11 on my laptop why? Fedora 11 is definitely not buggy, in fact I tested alpha and beta versions just to make sure that the last piece of hardware that never worked before, my fingerprint reader was now supported. Well first of all my unplanned trips abroad are to blame but above all Fedora 10 is such a great release that I never contemplated upgrading, who says Fedora is a test bed and unstable? That’s not all, this time I am in love with the system with the customizations I did, running a macos style toolbar, having a free version of crossover, virtualbox and all the nifty add-ons I have installed. Take a look at the screenshot, who would want to switch from such a nice desktop? So for a change I am applying the server rule to my desktop, if it ain’t broken don’t fix it :-)
