Does Solaris 11 Express support Xen PV DomU ?
If yes, where to look for installation procedure ?

Solaris Express has support for PVs, try your luck at http://hub.opensolaris.org/bin/view/Community+Group+xen/. Since you run RHEL 6 why not play around with KVM instead from CentOS 5.5 or Fedora 14?

I run Xen 4.0.1 & 2.6.32.25 pvops Dom0 on top of RHEL 6 and F14.
I always avoid KVM no matter of distro.
Procedure bellow worked for OSOL 134 :-

mount -o loop,ro sol-11-exp-201011-live-x86.iso /mnt
cd /mnt
cp ./platform/i86pc/amd64/boot_archive /home/boris/solaris11
cp ./platform/i86xpv/kernel/amd64/unix /home/boris/solaris11

Setup profile as for OSOL 134 :-

name = “SOLARIS11″
vcpus = 2
memory = “1024″
kernel = “/home/boris/solaris11/unix”
ramdisk = “/home/boris/solaris11/boot_archive”
extra = “/platform/i86xpv/kernel/amd64/unix – nowin -B install_media=cdrom”
disk = ['file:/root/Downloads/sol-11-exp-201011-live-x86.iso,xvdc:cdrom,r','phy:/dev/sdb5,xvda,w']
vif = ['bridge=eth0']
on_shutdown = “destroy”
on_reboot = “destroy”
on_crash = “destroy”

Doesn’t work for Solaris 11 Express

Thanks, You must be aware that Xen support has been dropped from RHEL 6, should you choose to use Xen on RHEL 6 in a production environment, you’ll want to check with Red Hat what the support implications are, you’ll probably get “Unsupported Configuration!” What is the primary reason to run Xen on RHEL 6?

Performance of PV Guests at Xen Dom0 is a reason.
I am going to stay on Fedora 14(15) based boxes.
BTW, Xen Dom0 Core support is merging mainline Linux
in meantime 2.6.37, 2.6.38 ( backend drivers are supposed
to come in).

Agreed, the performance of Xen guests has for long been really great and I have run large install of Xen Servers (RHEL 5.1 to 5.4) but I have been testing KVM for a while and I am definitely migrating to KVM :) I have read an interesting story on Fedora Planet a few days back which more or less confirms your statement http://www.liangsuilong.info/?p=1044
